Liz moved to New Zealand over 30 years ago from London to work as a physiotherapist but as her interest in object making became more apparent Liz enrolled as a full time student in the  Craft and Design degree at UNITEC and later, in 2008, obtained a MAD (Masters in Art and Design) from AUT (Auckland University of Technology). 
Her work has developed from a more craft based perspective of the initial training to embrace a more conceptual approach.
​Liz was producing kiln formed contemporary glass from her home based studio in Auckland from the mid-90s. She has now extended her material practice to a number of different media, particularly clay.
Liz exhibits widely in New Zealand and Overseas.  Liz lives and works in Matakana, just north of Auckland.
